It's less than a year old, updated MWF, so starting from the beginning won't take that long (and it's worth it). posted by hopeless romantique at 4:57 PM on December 9, 2004
Yeah, and the characters are drawn all sexy like!

The comic is funny if read as a parody of web-comics, where the giant breasted ultra liberal gamer girl makes pandering jokes clearly written by a man who doesn't play video games or take politics seriously. Which isn't an insult, it's what I honestly believe Chris Crosby is trying to do, and that people just aren't getting the joke. He's a legitimately funny guy, but this isn't a comic to be taken seriously. posted by Simon! at 5:09 PM on December 9, 2004
I've been reading this comic, and I like it , but I can never buy into female characters with boobs bigger than their heads and pink hair. My favorite web comics are thesetwo. posted by BuddhaInABucket at 5:09 PM on December 9, 2004
I find the majority of webcomics rather generic and lame - the only one that's been able to hold my attention for its entire run is Scary Go Round. Something about the writing style is very unique, and dare I say... 'cute.' posted by nervestaple at 5:28 PM on December 9, 2004

About Sore Thumbs? Fuck, the world already has entirely too many self-conscious amateur comics about spunky gals and video games. I require a healthy dose of dada or perversion. posted by neckro23 at 6:01 PM on December 9, 2004
I found it over here which is from a recent front page post that I am too lazy to look up. posted by geekyguy at 7:13 PM on December 9, 2004
I tried to get into Sore Thumbs since I saw their advertisement on Something Positive. But it was just too much witty subversion and not enough misanthropic sarcasm. Now, Men in Hats, that's a bitter web comic.

I'm a liberal and I don't think the jokes are very funny nor are the conservatives believable, they sound like what really dumb leftists think conservatives are like. posted by Slagman at 10:04 PM on December 9, 2004
That one chick has hot boobs, though. posted by Slagman at 10:16 PM on December 9, 2004
Oh please. You all love the big-titted manga-lookin' bitchaz and you know it. posted by fungible at 11:08 PM on December 9, 2004
I'm a conservative and I thought this comic was great. :) posted by drscroogemcduck at 12:17 AM on December 10, 2004
Oh hey, is this where we all plug webcomics? vgcats is much better than a videogame webcomic about anthropomorphic cats has any right to be. posted by squidlarkin at 9:22 AM on December 10, 2004
Ah but JeffR will come up with something even more insanely genius-opolis. I have utter faith!! :D posted by zoogleplex at 11:01 AM on December 10, 2004
