Looks like a fettish to me, for sure. Maybe now it's no surprise that its not just cheney's brains that give him the lovely position of the vice president.

Man, he's just a shitkicker like LB Johnson isn't he?
Funny.

(BTW - did Mr.Clean come out of the closet yet?)

It's not some sort of religous thing?

Damn it... religious.

Kind of fun (w/o reading any of the text, I can just imagine what it says).

He's not a member of the Hair Club for Men.

He's our President.

He touches my head and he'll pull back a bloody stump, Secret Service be damned.

Inappropriate Presidential Touching; apparently it didn't end with the Clinton administration.

At least Clinton was touching women.

I wonder if the president should maybe take the skinheads bowling?

The man's an idiot.

Seriously, isn't this guy... you know... him? Is it so obvious that nobody else find it worth commenting on, or am I the only one who sees a resemblance?

You're not insane, soy. :P That's kinda funky.

hortense, you just blew my little mind.

it looks a little like him, but it's not him--i betcha tho, there is a pic somewhere of Bush doing that to Gannon--it'll come out.

I've heard that too, about it being a racist gesture when it's done by white guys to black guys, but can't find any history of it online...anyone? is it just a patronizing thing? treating them like children?

A little? Check the ears. Guckert's come to a definite point at the back, exactly like this guy's. And the nose is extreeemely similar.

I think it looks a hell of a lot like him, though the apparent context makes it seem unlikely. Do you know what event that photo's from? Is the guy one of his State-of-the-Union props or something? Just curious.

That just squicks me out. Bloody stub indeed. Oh, but I have an inny (and hair), so I'm probably safe.

About a year ago there was a rather comical "OMFG Bu$h = Racist HeadRubberzz1010" thread about this same subject. Nearly every person throwing around the 'R' word ignored that over half of the pictures were of Bush rubbing the bald heads of white men (they also ignored the historically large African American presence in Bush's admistration as well as the continuing pro-GOP groundswell in the AA community, too, but that's another subject...). Head-patting is a weird, but affectionate gesture. So's the football player's Asspat, or the HipHop Handshake/Hug. Not sure what else we're supposed to be noticing.
