America (F*ck Yeah), We Stand As One This was inevitable, right? The theme song from Team America: World Police, cut together with the (enhanced) images from America We Stand as One, recently discussed here. (Audio is possibly NSFW, if your coworkers don't like cursin')

this is about the 47th (and worst) hacked up video for that song that some retard has put on the net.
and most of them tarnish the brilliance that is trey, so knock it off. posted by jimjam at 10:50 AM on April 11, 2005
The sad thing is that the original music video was funnier. posted by knave at 10:52 AM on April 11, 2005
I laughed. Where are these 46 others? Bring 'em on! posted by Tubes at 11:20 AM on April 11, 2005

This was surprisingly better than either original. posted by frecklefaerie at 12:06 PM on April 11, 2005
Yes, this one almost justifies the other two. posted by mrgrimm at 12:19 PM on April 11, 2005
"Amazingly" lip-syncing was better in the hacked than the original! posted by hoskala at 1:16 PM on April 11, 2005

Where can one see the original "America Fuck Yeah" video? posted by drezdn at 3:56 PM on April 11, 2005
I like how the explosions nicely coordinated with the muzak at the end.
You guys are a really tough crowd. I thought that was perfectly funny and an appropriate waste of 30 seconds of my busy life. posted by jokeefe at 4:35 PM on April 11, 2005
I weep for pat tallman who was in that video. Of course i have a crush on her from b5. posted by MrLint at 5:01 PM on April 11, 2005
this is by far the greatest metafilter post ive ever experienced. jokeefe is right, the explosions RULE. take em out America! you gotta keep em seperated! posted by Satapher at 5:06 PM on April 11, 2005
haha, for some reason "THE INTERNET FUCK YEAH" followed by "SLAVERY FUCK YEAH" absolutely kills me every time. posted by Satapher at 5:10 PM on April 11, 2005
That was pretty damn good!
I'd like to see something like this about Canada tho. I mean would anyone who so casually accepts this kind of saccrine bullshit nationalism not point and laugh if some other country ran around saying "We're the best fuckers ever!"
Of course, y'know, we are tho'... posted by Smedleyman at 5:25 PM on April 11, 2005

drezdn - Where can one see the original "America Fuck Yeah" video?
It's in the movie or something (I haven't seen Team America yet) but the song has been floating around as mp3 or whatever for awhile. So, basically, there is no original movie for it, as far as I know.
I want to join the clamoring for jimjam to produce the other reworks. Google's doing nothing for me, and I've yet to discover the cutting-edge parody sites. posted by frecklefaerie at 9:03 PM on April 11, 2005
for all you retards who can't use a search engine, here's just one of the many (somewhat better) versions out there posted by jimjam at 9:38 PM on April 12, 2005
I'd like to see something like this about Canada tho.
"Surrender pronto, or we'll level Toronto!" Now that I think about it, the movie makes fun of the US. Damn, sorry, nobody has done a proper movie on Canada. posted by afrooz at 3:00 PM on April 14, 2005
Okay I can't get the link to work. =( I keep getting Mac's 404. Is this something designed to make PC users feel inadequate? Believe me we don't need any help in that department. posted by ZachsMind at 3:17 PM on April 14, 2005
Well that's weird. I found the same link at BlogDex, and it looked like it was downloading this time, got about halfway through, and then the 404 error page cropped up again. Creepy. posted by ZachsMind at 3:21 PM on April 14, 2005
can someone find a different source for the movie?
all of them point to apple servers and do not load...
shame...would have wanted to see it! posted by Flamingoroad at 5:34 PM on April 14, 2005
Ah.. Someone brought this to my attention. The website iFilm has a backup. posted by ZachsMind at 7:07 PM on April 14, 2005
