Livio De Marchi is a contemporary Italian sculptor who has developed a remarkable style, combining great skill with wood and a good dose of whimsy. No plank will ever look the same!

Ok, those page "transitions" when I clicked on the last two links freaked me the hell out. (Using IE because I'm at work and not on my regular computer.)

That said- I really really like the house of books. Th fake bookcases hiding the kitchen appliances are actually a pretty cool idea for a real house.

They look even better in person. One of the upscale gift shops at the Venetian in Las Vegas carries some of his work.

Dear Lord, and the wooden clothes on wooden hangers? My head asplode. Did he actually craft everything in the wooden house? That seems like multiple lifetimes' worth of work.
