Ha! How big a loser do you have to be to think this is cool?

Anyone know a good place to get Jenga blocks in wholesale quantities?

Is this in a closed & locked building? What's to stop some 12-year old from tossing a penny at it to set off the ultimate "kaboom"?

All I can see is a man flying through the air, firmly planting his shoulder waist-high into the tower.

That could do some damage to a kid if it fell. Hopefully no one will be stupid enough to mess with it.

I was probably different but I know I wouldn't mess with that tower when I was ten, or even younger. Both out of respect and mortal fear.

Though at any age I'd love seeing it come down. Imagine plinking at it from the top down with a BB gun or pellet rifle. Or rolling a bowling ball at it slowly. Or just walking into it or creatively pulling it apart with your hands. (Full helmet and hockey armor optional.)

But, but, but Jenga doesn't have any blinking pieces.

He would have gotten the patriotic vote if he'd made the World Trade Center towers instead.

Still kind of cool in an ubernerd sort of way.

You take a block from the bottom and you put it on top
You take a block from the middle and you put it on top
Til someone knocks it all over and that's when you stop
But you start all over putting blocks on top
It teeters and it totters as you build it on up
It weebles and it wobbles but you don't give up
You take a block from the bottom and you put it on top.....

Jenga Jenga! J-j-j-jenga!

hello photoshop...if you are going to go through all the trouble of building a nice big jenga tower, play with the levels a bit for more detail in the pics sheesh.

Yea, but were they drinking at the time. Sheesh...the fun is being under the influence while constructing.

This tower has one half the stories the actual Sears which has 110 stories.  Mine has 55.  To conserve blocks, I only built floors every six stories to catch falling blocks as a safety precaution.

Oh c'mon! If you're gonna build a fuckin' Jenga Sears Tower, then don't half-ass it!

Where's the drunk? Oh, wait, this is regular Jenga ....

This structure has a number of setbacks or steps. This is, in part, an homage to the deco skyscrapers that started all the rage of "bigger is better" back in the early 1930's.

Perhaps true, but the original setbacks had a purpose -- they permitted a larger structure on a site zoned for a certain bulk so that light could continue to reach the street. The setbacks in the Sears Tower are mainly because of elevator capacity, and to provide rigidity versus winds.
