Yeah, these are great. And the Ghostbusters one is arguably better than the original film. posted by Dr. Wu at 10:14 AM on January 6, 2006
There are too many close-ups and lovingly-rendered shots in the Raiders installment. It's best when it keeps to the crude, side-scrolling style of an old 8-bit game. posted by gigawhat? at 10:33 AM on January 6, 2006
I should add that these are really cool. posted by gigawhat? at 10:37 AM on January 6, 2006

Very cool. The paneling in the Ghostbusters works best for me. Excellent childhood memory refresher.
Very glad they used the original Star Wars trilogy; some of the additions in the Special Editions always give me the irrits (the song & dance routine in Jabba's Palace for example). posted by d-no at 2:42 PM on January 6, 2006

Wow. The Ghostbusters one made me think of the old C64 Ghostbusters game.
A lot.

These are great, I like the little details like the Tie Fighter symbols on Luke's X-Wing in Empire to show how many kills he's got. posted by greycap at 2:33 AM on January 7, 2006
