why?

"Andrew Rosenblum Productions", indeed. I was guilty of that too, as a kid; thinking I should attach "[name] productions" to anything creative I created, so that people might think it was more important than it was.

FWIW, I watched several seconds of this with no sound, and that was all I needed. Also, based on the video game playing in the background, they taped this circa 1987.

I made it to 1'37" [This is not a snark - just laying down a challenge for others].

Very hard to find a Wavebird or Nintendo DS in '87.

At least one of these two people is at university, by the way.

Better than 99% of what's on G4 TV.

Way to find a positive focus. The only alternative I see to this video is a school shooting.

This is better than Star Trek: TNG and/or Morgan Webb?

if there was google video and affordable home editing software when i was younger, you can bet there would have been a ton of "episodes" of my fine "productions" gracing the interweb. i don't know if i wish there was...

the show is really well-produced. both of these kids could very well have a future in TV--on the other side of the camera.

1. goatse was an fpp, to the best of my knowledge. as was aybabtu and the star wars kid. this is the best of the web, folks, like it or not.

2. on the other hand, this IS via somethingawful, which is a minor no-no.

shmegegge: It's been floating around the web for at least a week (I did a post about it on the 1st). I doubt you can blame it solely on SA.

For what it's worth, Meteos and Puyo Pop Fever really are great games.

That's fucked up, Attack of the Show rules.

I agree - it's better than most of the stuff on G4. I still fondly remember the days when they covered tech stuff in a mature manner, while still having fun. Nowadays, it's nothing but anime and Star Trek repeats and the mental retardation known as Attack of the Show.

and Morgan Webb, though Canadian, is obviously a guy.

How many games consist of lining up "three of the same color"?
BASS IS A FISH!
Look, the 1UP sound isn't even there! I mean, c'mon, c'mon, the classic 1UP sound? Where did that go?
Wait, he wails about how there's no Mario music then goes on to say that the music is better because it's not the same crap? The hell?

These are the kids I used to beat up.

What, I'm not old, and I agree that Attack of the Show is mental retardation in a 60 minute package.

Yes, I noticed the other day how not old you are.

"No, idiot. This one is new. God you're dumb."
posted by poppo at 12:16 PM on February 10, 2006

Yeah, man. Same criticism applies for anyone who would willingly watch that dreck.
