Odd but fun short films...

The odd films of Neural Surfer. I've yet to watch them all but my fave so far is Little Things that Jiggle: Richard Feynman and Atomic Physics {google vid}, which is part of the Philosophy in less than five minutes (sometimes) series.

The films (at least some of them) are actually student films done for class:

"From about 2000 onwards I started requiring that my students create digital films that touch upon some aspect of philosophy, science, or religion. The film section houses a number of excellent "first" time films from my students at CSULB."

Little things that jiggle?

I'll show you a little thing that jiggled (not what you're thinking):

It was the damn needle on the VU meter that was calibrated to "millionths of an inch."

How can you get any SCIENCE! done when your gear is trembling like a Parkinson's patient having an orgasm?

Very nice post, although I have to say that I watched the Proust film, and having just finished, this past weekend, making my way through In Search Of Lost Time for the second time, the implication that Proust is (or would be) best remembered for being gay is a bit perverse and offensive.
