One word...Plastics. New techniques for restoring bones. Speaking of broken bones, is everyone else dreading the full media coverage of Ronald Reagan's slow liquefaction over the next several years.

No. I am not dreading it.

I would figure most liberals would get quite a bit of Schadenfreude out of it.

It's not going to happen because Nancy won't let it. (Actually, it's amazing he's still alive.)

I spent eight years hating Reagan, but in the state that he's in now. . . cheap shot, aaron.

I for one can't wait.

The Bigoted Fucker deserves it.

Wow. I completely fail to see how aaron's remark was in bad taste. I must be one o' them liberals.

I just keep dreading it 'cause he keeps going to the hospital in my neighborhood. Hello, local news puff piece.

But yeah...leave the doddering ol' codger in peace. After all, he wasn't really running the country when he was president. Better to pick on James Baker and Cap Weinberger and Ollie North and George H. W. Bush and Edwin Meese and...

thousands of people (mostly in Central America) died much more horrible deaths because of reagan's actions than he will himself. he's lived almost 90 years, been rich for most of it, is surrounded by the best medical care in the world. tell the mother of a 9 year old killed by reagan-funded militia that she should feel bad for him. fuck him.

Well, Aaron, looks like I was wrong.

rodii, you should have been right. aaron's remark was in very poor taste. The fact that it was followed by several other remarks in equally poor taste doesn't change anything. It seems we have some prime examples of pettiness and vindictiveness stinking up this thread.

We all had plenty of time to voice our various opinions on Reagan when he was in the public eye. He has now gone home to die. Why should we enjoy that? (BTW, don't take that last question as an invitation to tell me why Reagan was a bad president. I agree. He was a horrible president. But now he's just a doddering, old man. Lay off.)
