Ultimate Wingnut Fantasy Wankball

Ultimate Wingnut Fantasy Wankball: "Fantasy football" (??) played with right wing bloggers. (Me, I think I want a raise.)
I thought right-wing blogtards were known for dropping the ball, not carrying it.

This really raises the caliber of debate.
Also, the funny bits are not, well, funny: Fast Fact: "Tacitus" is Latin for "verbose creep" and "Fast Fact: "Eugene" is short for "Eugenics". Lovely.

This is pretty stupid, but I actually loved "Eugene" for "Eugenics." Steven C., the entry on you is terrible / great. You should sue for defamation; it would be well-deserved and hilarious.

(Clarification -- although I said I liked the joke "Eugene" is short for "Eugenics", I definitely don't think it represents a good criticism of Volokh. That's stupid.)

Lileks recently moved up to the major leagues with a unique blend of Midwestern wholesomeness and hysterical bedwetting.

its funny to see assrocket as the top pick - from a state that will see mark kennedy go down in flames - and the really crazy michelle bachman lose his house seat to patty wetterling. all of the above way out of mainstream minnesota.

I'd rather see a battle royale between obnoxious rightwing bloggers and annoying leftwing bloggers. But then 90% of the Internet would be destroyed.

Is it funnier if you know something about American football?

Interesting fact: It's been over...9 months now since I have read any "obnoxious rightwing" or "annoying leftwing" blogs.
And I feel all the better for it. I now feel, in my own mind, that political blogs are done. A lost cause. Some minor, dark, grubby corner of the internet that's stuck in its own useless feedback loop, and it's actually quite easy to shut the door and step away from it. Sure, from the inside you're changing the world, man! Manufacturing dissent! Shaping the cultural dialogue! Arguing passionately about photoshopped clouds of smoke! The New New-Journalism!
But come on. Step away from the keyboards, people. Try it some time. Relax in the warm, mellow glow that you no longer give a shit what Charles Johnson thinks about something. It's easy, no matter which side of the political spectrum you land on. There's actually more to the internet than boring, talk-radio-wannabe wankers.

Other than Andrew Sullivan and Eugene Volokh, I have never even heard of these motherfuckers. I don't know if I should feel good about that or else, wholly inadequate. I'm guessing the former.

Most humans can only expect unqualified support from their close relatives. But wingnuts only seem to have each other.
