The first time I realized you could control the snowballs' curve by moving after the throw, I broke 30,000. Ten or so games later, I haven't managed to do it again.

I think maybe you have to pick up the gift box with "smart snowballs" in it?

The elves suddenly seem to acquire elite snowball skills at around 16k in my experience.

Yeah I definitely broke it. They stopped throwing back, which allowed me to do this, but also meant I couldn't finish and get the score recorded.

At a certain point, they start to behave like retarded ninjas moving very fast from a place to another, and getting stuck in their freezed comrades without throwing snowballs.

Yeah, I got sick of killing the little fools at 70k, they weren't fighting back but every so often. Finally had to sit still and go do something else for a few minutes just to get the score posted.
