Not to be too off-topic here, but what this post immediately made me nostalgic for was that great, great game from Steve Jackson games, Illuminati!. And I mean the old version, before they turned it into another Magic. Man, what a great game. Okay, you may discuss the actual link now.

The Shielded Cap is smart **and** subtle. But will it help me score with the ho's?

dcodea, I knew I could count on someone on MeFi to catch the Illuminati reference. I still have the original game, actually--and recently began teaching a couple friends on how to play it. Geek, thy name is Skot.

Evil Stevie's latest version of Illuminati is a throwback to the original; the biggest difference from the "Deluxe" pre-INWO edition is that the cards have new, more colorful artwork. There's also a "Y2K" set of expansion cards, as well as a "Brainscan" update of the original Expansion Set 3 in the pipeline. SJG seems to be reviving a number of its classics; they recently published a new edition of "Awful Green Things from Outer Space" and a cardboard-counter version of "Ogre/GEV" that's entirely separate from the "Deluxe Ogre" miniatures game.

By the way, there's only one way to be sure you're completely safe.

My favorite way to play Illuminati was with "cheat rules." For some reason, my friends never wanted to...

To bad this web site doesn't have photos of their products.

Is there a reason they sell no footware? I mean, we can't be in that "Full Body Shielded Suit" all day long. I've been in mine for a week and frankly, I need a rest.
