Flickr user gandibacardi takes pictures of himself wearing cardigans and photoshops heads of models over his own face

Flickr user gandibacardi really likes women's cardigans. So much that he takes pictures of himself wearing cardigans and puts heads of models over his own face. He then writes (presumably) fictional mini-stories in the captions. He also likes to talk about cardigans. Sometimes he posts links to his pictures asking people what they think of his pictures.
Sometimes he gets answers, but most often not.

I like the ones where it's a cardigan over another cardigan.
I also liked this comment:
It was so sad to see a loose thread on the cardigan snag on a briar not far fron the Andes. Not the high Andes but the lonely ones which are lower down. As the snag grew the cardigans unravelled and left a wool trail that wild beasts could follow back to the camp. Did anyone remember to light the camp fire?
This post reminded me that I need to buy another cardigan. Thank you!

Would you rather that we go back to our regularly scheduled Bush bashing? You know, that's not exactly "Best of the Web" either.
At least this was lighthearted and amusing.

1) You are talking about mandatory limits not 'guide lines' get over it.

Not everybody needs to share their hobby with the world.
Paco, however, obviously does need to share. And for that, I thank the Internets. Thank you, Internets.

Actually, I like stuff like this more than the usual political agenda shit that gets posted here. And anyway, you should flag it and/or take it to metatalk if it riles you up that much.

Yes it is. Good post. Also, Katullus has been around a while and has made many excellent posts in the past (quite a lot recently, actually), so he knows his way around the place.

The badly-pasted-on girl's faces totally weird me out.
I'm reminded vaguely of an old cartoon where a mortorcycle cop is yelling at a lady "Pull over!" and she yells back, "No, stupid! Cardigan!"
But mostly I'm confused.

Would it be more or less creepy if the guy went in the other direction... pasting his head onto each and every member of The Cardigans?

Freaky, in that wearing a full body cartoon suit staring at you with those immobile eyes rocking slowly back and forth to some '50s b-side as David Lynch masturbates in a corner frantically kind of freaky.
To each his own, &c.

Harmless weirdness.
I've been trying to figure out his user and group name: gandibacardi. It's obviously a rearrangement of c-a-r-d-i-g-a-n with the remaindered letters d-i-b-a. Thoughts?

Well, gandiba is the name of a legendary bow in the Bhagavatam Purana, but somehow I doubt that's where the name comes from. But other users in gandibacardi seem to use the -cardi suffix, e.g. alexacardi. I wouldn't read too much into it.

I'm Paco, and in this group my name is Gandi Bacardi.
I have a strong obsession with sweet looking feminine cardigans since as long as I can remember. Cardigans with a roundneck and buttons on the left. I like to see beautiful women wearing them and wear them myself too, also in public, which can be confusing as I'm not a beautiful women.
When I realised that this was some kind of crossdressing, I started experimenting with some more crossdressing, with some sensational results.
I'm also a father, a songwriting guitarplayer, a bit of an artist and a traveller.
I'm Male and Taken.
Also, this might be inauthentic, but if it were I'd find it more interesting.
