The old Chinese man in the lower right corner does a wicked beat box thing about halfway through his and then keeps going like nothing happened!

The only odd thing about this, having watched a bunch, is that the subtitles often seem to be very off from what the english speakers are saying... makes you wonder a bit how they are representing the other languages.

You are so right, GrumbleBee! That doesn't even make sense! Thousands of testimonies which what? Maybe it's thousands of testimonies which mean? Or maybe thousands of testimonies which like? Or maybe thousands of testimonies which hard..?

I've noticed the same thing selfnoise.
Top, upper left corner, Love: "I am married to my wife for 24 years and we fell in love 2 years ago." Sad and lovely.

selfnoise - I noticed similar in the non-English languages I know. I assumed it was an attempt at simple English for accessibility. Great link!

Absolutely amazing. It's 1 Giant Leap meets StoryCorps (with phenomenal video quality).
grumblebee & ZachsMind: the main page has the whole sentence:
"In 2008 you will be able to listen to the thousands of testimonies which have been collected, and add your own testimony to the site. In the meantime, take a look at the project, the team, and some interviews that have already been made."

This looks pretty awesome on first quick viewing, only I can't help wondering how the testimonials are going to be collected from the 5 billion or so people who have little or no access to the necessary technology.

The "love" interviews made me smile, especially the Sudanese refugee guy. What a charmer.
