I recommend you spend your 9mins 51secs doing anything else. Moderate and staccato lesbian porn images are projected onto NYC buildings with highly stylised 911 impact footage (making fireballs look like dadaesque blood shards) and is followed by many more planes and impacts than we were ever told about. It is weird in a hardly at all exciting and decidedly indulgent fashion and not even worth a look. Truly. And you will want to jam chopsticks in your ears from the soundtrack.

Exactly! Not even Loose Change has the balls to go where this film goes.

Ya know, I'll go out on a limb and try to defend the lesbians-projected-onto-buildings stuff. In a symbolic way, that's kind of how the 9/11 hijackers saw the city, just multiple concrete phalluses of American (and probably Jewish) concupiscence.

But I'll step off of that limb now. Thank you for your time.

This was pretty interesting — almost po-mo porn. Phallic towers hardened with plastic lesbian sex, exploding in red orgasms while Lady Liberty looks on with a steely, quiet gaze.

"Best of the web?"

Yes. A rare example of a YouTube MeFi FPP that I think is worth it, not some hamfisted "look, a bunch of my favourite stuff is on YouTube".

This fits no definition of porn that I am aware of.

"The endless replays of the plane penetrating the tower were unmistakably pornographic, complete with flames and debris spurting out in slow motion; even the Washington Post referred to the footage as a "money shot" and called it "our new porn" [12/31/2001, Page C1]. The towers were blatantly phallic, and their collapses resembled post-ejaculatory loss of erection."

Reverend Korda of the Church of Euthanasia in an interview by Marshall Dury for The Maine Campus (University of Maine). Link to the full interview. He made a video that mashes up pornographic imagery with the 9/11 footage some time ago, here's a link to the video "I like to watch" by the Rev. Korda

That second slug link is amazing!

So what is so interesting about banana slugs!? Well, these slugs are hermaphrodites, which means that they can act as both males and females at the same time. When they mate, they insert their penises into eachother at the same time. The unusual thing (in case you don't find that unusual enough!) is that sometimes, but not always, when they finish mating one slug will chew the penis completely off the other, a process called Apophallation. Sometimes it happens that both slugs engage in chewing so that at the end of the mating encounter, both slugs are penis-less.

Does it grow back? Probably the most common question that I get. NO. Past work has suggested that it does not regenerate, at least not within a year.

(NSFW)

Is it a bad thing that I've been on the internet long enough to know where to find slug porn with an intended audience of humans? One image at here, two at here, and a number at here's subpages, including here... at another site, you can find one image each at here, here, and here... here is a snail-girl, rather than slug-girl, but still fairly close... hm, here used to have some, but doesn't at the moment... And yes, I could almost certainly find more if I used Google to look for anything but the specific sub-pages on the sites I knew of. (Warning - all links are not just NSFW, but may introduce you to things you didn't know existed, let alone that Rule 34 could apply to.)

Yeah. I think that Rule 34 totally works as long as you have a really really broad concept of what counts as pornography.

This is a short film using semi-explicit sexual imagery for artistic effect. Tipper Gore would think it's porn, but that doesn't mean it is.

I'll not follow any links for I am at work, but I love the idea of 'Rule 34'. I had not heard of that before, but I'm sure I'll use it in the future.

See, what's really cool about pornography, if you think for a second, in that little triple-ply steel vault that you keep in the center on your brain, where you keep locked away that really fucked up sexual fantasy, that really dark twisted sticky exotic thing...

Are you locked on it right now, are you fixed on it? Right now, there's a magazine devoted just to that! That's all it is! And there's a staff of people putting it out, that couldn't be more bored by the thing you think is so exotic and weird! The thing you think is so dangerous is somebody's pain in the ass job somewhere. That is amazing!

Strangely, this completely makes sense. Of course my secret vault fantasy involves placing large objects in someone's rectum, so...

Filmmakers like this are the reason why towards the end of his career, Freud kinda wished he'd just stayed in bed.

Finally, am I the only one who was reminded of that one Roadrunner cartoon, where Wile E. Coyote made those little dynamite glider darts that invariably backfired and fucked with him for the rest of the episode? Anyone? ok.

Agreed.

I'm not much of a connoisseur of pornography, but I know it when I see it.

I have too much respect for the porn industry to consider this short self-titled "Flesh" as porn.

However, I don't have as much respect for the term "ART." They call Picasso and Monet "ART" and I think they're both crap.

This piece of crap film about planes being phallic symbols ramming into other phallic symbols while fake Hollywood-ized lipstick lesbians prance about on every flat surface that computer imaging can put a lesbian on, disregarding the religious, political, social, historical, and psychological implications and simplfying everything humanity has to offer as just one big festival of flesh with no meaning beyond what we choose to give it.

I'll call that art.

I won't call it porn.

Although, when you think about it, even the best of porn does much the same thing. Disregard the implications and go for the money shot. I still refuse to call it porn.

BrotherCaine: You're entirely welcome. Back in 1996, all I could have offered you was a single photomorph of a slug- or snail-woman, with eye-stalks sprouting from her eyesockets, which has been burned into my memory even though I can't find it online anymore. Which may be a good thing.

(I may have saved a copy to my HD, then one of my archive CD-Rs, then transferred it to my current external HD... but I think I'll just decline to search for that particular artist's works today.)
