Huh. That's actually a pretty nice way to put the idea together.
Audio levels, though. Yeesh. Something on the server side doing some normalization might be a good idea, because some of those recordings were damned inaudible. Of the people who have microphones, those who will actually set their levels correctly is definitely a subset and the site should get proactive about that.
