Whoa. I don't know if you ever had a kaleidosketch... but that was some serious shit for a kid. Little plastic guides with 8,000 holes, pins to hold that shit down, colored pens to sketch out each iteration. It took HOURS to make one good "sketch." Now, I see the online version and I am torn between excitement and utter disgust. Sure, it's great to be able to type in some modifiers and get a cool result, but...all those years...trying to figure out HOW...HOW...to stick those pins into a formica table, while using half dried up pens, while using 3-4 guides per figure...it was an art all to itself..and now, I can just type......it.....in.....

I wish they had the functionality of an actual kaleidoscope - shifting, blossoming, combining.
