OS X as music video.(SLYT) Dennis Liu's interpretation of "Again and Again" by the Bird and the Bee, using a particular operating system as inspiration. It does feel kind of like an Apple ad, but it's quite creative.

Hmm. Well, see, this is just me, but these are my problems with this:
1) I fucking love The Bird and the Bee, and I would much rather see Inara than the chick they had lip-synching to this
2) I fucking love the video to "Again and Again" and I would much rather watch it than... well, most other things these days.
so this guy filmed his computer usage while resizing text, changing his desktop background and edited all down to music? amazing! i can't even fathom how i manage to type on my pc it's so backwards! i'm suitably awed... which is not all that much. posted by eatdonuts at 9:49 PM on May 13, 2008
Woo! Loved it; that gave every appearance of lots of hard work and I thought it well done and appealing
Suck it, pretentious haters.

F*ck this Mac-only garbage.
You needed a Mac to view this YouTube page? posted by Blazecock Pileon at 10:06 PM on May 13, 2008
This is pretty cool, actually. I had never heard the song before (and I like it), that chick IS hot, and the music video was pretty creative. It wasn't all typing and resizing text, but basically the entire song's lyrics are on the screen in some way, either via MS Word, different users' background images (with the 3d rotating cube transition), dashboard apps, or images in photoshop. It obviously took a lot of work to make this video. posted by hellphish at 10:15 PM on May 13, 2008

What's the screensaver being used after the glowing butterflies one (about 1:55 into the clip)? posted by emelenjr at 3:50 AM on May 14, 2008

I like the song and the video, but I think they're trying a little too hard to be the next Cansei de Ser Sexy, who are cool because they weren't even trying to be in an Apple ad in the first place. posted by ericbop at 6:57 AM on May 14, 2008
ericbop, i'm pretty sure this is an unofficial video. posted by chunking express at 8:12 AM on May 14, 2008

From the link: The Bird & the Bee contacted me, and they really liked it. I scored two tickets to their next concert in NY, and we hope to meet up. Hopefully they will let me direct their next video! posted by chunking express at 5:04 AM on May 15, 2008
The (really cute!) girl's name is Larkin Clark, according to the interview. posted by WCityMike at 2:27 PM on May 15, 2008
