I HATE ANTHONY AND I DON'T CARE WHO KNOWS IT!

The New Yorker interviews Josh Fruhlinger, a.k.a. The Comics Curmudgeon. [Previously.] Josh also writes a weekly political cartoon post for Wonkette, and recently appeared on Jeopardy!
It's a great blog. I also hate Anthony. But not half as much as I hate Elizabeth.

To be fair, the Comics Writer sub-blog of the New Yorker interviewed him. Personally, I would still be geeked out of my mind.
I like it when he makes fun of For Better Or For Worse.

Josh Fruhlinger has always struck me as one of the biggest goofs ever. You can just feel the tube socks that extend all the way to his knees and khaki shorts in every thing he writes. It's great.

Looking through the Curmudgeon just now, I'm shocked (well, surprised) that Shoe is still being published, eight years after Jeff MacNelly died.

I was in Baltimore when he was having a get-together to watch his Jeopardy appearance. He introduced me to his parents as Wolfdog, when they sat down next to me, and they called me Wolfie all evening. Good people, I thought.
Also I was once comment-of-the-week for three weeks while he was on vacation and didn't update the site. Yeah.

I read the Jeopardy tale with unexpected excitement and now have this strange feeling on my legs. Like nylon tube socks high enough to kiss my khakis...

I specifically started reading Comics Curmudgeon because of his hatred for Anthony, a feeling I totally share.
I mean, for god's sake, what was wrong with Warren? Or Paul? They were both hot and interesting. And Paul would never have "cheated" on her if she hadn't left him.
And really, I shouldn't care about this crap so much. But really, I'm in between Michael & Elizabeth in age, and they live in Canada. It's the only strip I ever cared about.

I prefer the nickname "Blandthony." Though "The Mustache" was a good one, too.

I wonder if he knows Tim Kreider, Baltimore bon vivant, cartoonist, and columnist for the Comics Journal.
Also, his site has led me to a strange and disturbing crush on Margo from Apartment 3-G.

That site has led some readers to strange and disturbing crushes on Slylock Fox characters, so I think on the whole it could be worse.

If anyone out there actually likes Anthony, I would be interested to learn why. I hate him almost as much as I hate Mary Worth. Almost.

I hate Anthony far more than Mary Worth and I still laugh remember the zinger (it was a Comment of the Week, right?) after Lynn Johnston removed Anthony's moustache, possibly in response to his being nicknamed "The Moustache" (paraphrased): "We should really start calling him The Asshole. Try removing that, Lynn!"

Their wedding needs to end when Warren helicopters Paul in and reveal that Anthony killed Farley by luring April to the river many years ago.

Love, love, love the Comics Curmudgeon. Loathe what Lynn Johnston's done to FBOFW.

I have to admit, I harbour secret fantasies along the same lines. Not quite so dramatic, mind you, but Warren and the helicopter are definitely there. Still, that would require Lynn Johnston to recognize that Elly does not lead the world's most desirable life, and that, I fear, is more of a fantasy than the bit about Anthony having killed Farley.

Hooray for Josh! Too bad he was such a loser on Jeopardy!
I want Anthony to die at work and then have nobody notice for a few months.

I'm pretty sure I saw Josh Fruhlinger at the water ballet. Celebrity sightings are harder to come by now that "The Wire" is over, so it was exciting.
