Sweet mother of god

Sweet mother of god don't let this be a double post. This little monster is for "the preservation of the command line culture". A whole lot of distractions in such a small bandwidth. Want streaming video? Try 'starwars'. Want adventure? Type... um... 'adventure'. Remember the good old days?

If I want adventure, I just start typing to Brad.

But maybe that's just me.

Oh, and a warning: That link is a 625k text file. No, seriously.

Looks like the index.html page is under 5k. Besides, all you really need to do is get into a telnet session and type

telnet blekko.com

To clear up your confusion: Anil means that his own link is to a humongous text file. (Only 612K, though, I think!)

The best argument I always had for preserving command line interfaces is that they can easily translate to voice interfaces. So if you're designing a service, it's a good idea to think about a command-driven interface for it, whether it's to facilitate scripting or vocal interaction.
