Nudibranchs are from the Molluscs phllum, along with my faves, cephalopods. But nudibranchs are from a different class, called gastropods.
Taxonomy of the Heterobranchia has some delightfully bizarre names:
headshield slugs
sap-suckling slugs
sea hares
sea butterflies
sea angels

Alright, you know how some people dislike clowns, and then some people really hate clowns, and then a final subset of people get absolutely freaked the hell out by clowns? And then you show that person the film Killer Klowns from Outer Space, and it's like some infinitely compounding hellclown in their minds and they scream so long and hard that blood comes out of their eyes? When you turn a regular slug into a freakshow marine horrorbeast, that's what happens to me.
