X-Men the Movie trailer was released recently. I didn't even realize they were working on this.

Well, it's about time!! They were suppoesed to have this out at the Superbowl. It looks really good (esp. Wolverine's claws, since they're doing this from the original comic, I'm told), but something tells me that for all it's worth, it may turn into another Masters of the Universe.

Let's hope not.

I spent the better half of my formative years reading this (family of ) comic. So obviously I have been eagerly awaiting Bryan Singer's movie, but the same fears Cavatica has, plague me. I mean you remember the 70's live-action Spider-Man, right? Comic books are comic books for a reason.

I'm of two minds about this...my first thought on seeing the trailer was "Cool! This thing looks like it's aimed at 15-year-olds, rather than 12-year olds!" But then I went through it again and...I dunno. It just looks kind of sleek and clean and boring. Not enough oomph.
