A journey through the postal service

SpyBox A digital camera inside a parcel looks out through a small hole and captures images of its journey through the postal system. (via) Separately, the pinhole parcel project sent pinhole cameras through the regular postal service, and along the way they recorded their journey on the photographic negative, “creating highly unpredictable, abstract imagery.”
Also, I love the SpyBox and would like to create one myself. Probably not too hard, but if there were a rash of it the USPS probably wouldn't like it.

He used a JamCam for that. One of the great crappy digital cameras.

Seeing that the SpyBox was mailed through the British postal system, one wonders if it would have been stopped by way of package x-ray here in the States.
The wires and gadgetry would at least shut down Boston for a day.

ISTR a package containing a GPS logger went through the US mail. Or maybe that was a private package company.

I recall somebody sending a GPS unit all over the place via DHL, and tracking it on a map such that the tracked route wrote something out on the map. Can't think of where I saw it, though.

Being posted through the Royal Mail I'm surprised it wasn't stolen or broken.
