The First of May Jonathan Coulton's ode to the 'coming' of spring (SLYT). NSFW language. Coulton's Last.fm page. More MP3s here. Coulton wrote the 'Still Alive' song from Portal and also works with John Hodgman. Jon on Twitter.
He was also raised by wolves.

I saw Jonathan Coulton here in Seattle 2 days after the presidential election. When he sang the Presidents Song, he got to add one new verse, which was simply:
"Fucking Barack Obama"
At which the crowd roared.

For those that are out of the loop, explaination for the "raised by wolves" (4:50-ish / 55mins, Coulton provides musical backup for John Hodgman's book tour)

Wow, I got that paraphrase a bit wrong.
Was that show not the best $5 worth of entertainment ever, or what?

I wasn't at that show (and I'm a big fan of Coulton and Hodgman, but I can assure you that you're wrong. The best $5 worth of entertainment, ever, can be found right here.

Damn, you daHIFI! I had only just gotten that song out of my head. It's so catchy and peppy, I found myself starting to sing it out loud a few times in public places where it would definitely not be appreciated. Fortunately I managed to catch myself in time:
"First of May, First of May, out..uh, [something]...starts today"
But now it's back. You're gonna get me fired, I just know it. Apparently there are some thoughts that are NSFW.

I saw his show in Toronto last week. For some reason, he didn't do the Presidents Song, although he did play Curl for an audience that actually contained, you know, curlers.

The show was fantastic! Wil Wheaton was the surprise MC (hilarious!), and if you ever get a chance to see Paul & Storm, do it. The Largo is a fantastic venue and my crush on Jonathan Coulton just got even more public and embarrassing.
And now I can't get Skullcrusher Mountain out of my head.
