I saw Jonathan Coulton here in Seattle 2 days after the presidential election. When he sang the Presidents Song, he got to add one new verse, which was simply:

I wasn't at that show (and I'm a big fan of Coulton and Hodgman, but I can assure you that you're wrong. The best $5 worth of entertainment, ever, can be found right here. posted by dersins at 10:24 AM on May 1, 2009 [1 favorite]
Damn, you daHIFI! I had only just gotten that song out of my head. It's so catchy and peppy, I found myself starting to sing it out loud a few times in public places where it would definitely not be appreciated. Fortunately I managed to catch myself in time:
"First of May, First of May, out..uh, [something]...starts today"

I saw his show in Toronto last week. For some reason, he didn't do the Presidents Song, although he did play Curl for an audience that actually contained, you know, curlers. posted by djfiander at 8:27 AM on May 2, 2009
