The reason this doesn't work is because they're refusing Metafilter referrer links. If you click the link, it will say 'capacity problem' or something. Then just click in the address bar and hit enter, and it will load.

My mistake, it's not a referrer refusal, it's just a little overloaded. Hitting refresh will usually work.

I found these recently as well, and sent the "Skulls" one to a friend, with the warning that the rest were NSFW. He looked anyway. I said "Oh, did you see 8 Legs of Love?" and he stared off into the distance with a haunted look.

I had the archive page in a tab from January up until last week (bookmarks and me don't see eye to eye; I create them, they fuck off and disappear, never to be heard from again), refreshing when I thought about it, because the RSS was only set up very recently. Now I can be lazy about it and still enjoy the comics.

Those are pitch-perfect on so many levels. Good art, great jokes, (OK, a couple fell a little flat, but over all great) great boobs.

There's a small part of my brain that is confused by the fact that the best ones ("Fountain of Doubt" and "Skull of an Enemy") are SFW...
