Was I the only one hoping for music and flashing lights?

Love the art. The jokes are a bit like the ones you might hear in a bad sitcom ("Donna left me!" "Looks like you're gonna have to update your Facebook status, pal!" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA), but the art gets high marks.

No, no you weren't.

Yeah? And?

I see the meta. How about doing some filtering.

I agree with hifiparasol, except that the art isn't all that special either.

There's simply no accounting for taste. I really like this, ya'll haters should go for a walk or something.

Some of these are actually pretty funny.

"Did you fart?"
"No, it was my cellphone on vibrate mode."
"Your phone smells."

DaVinci's script LOL would be better mirror image.

This is more like the Techno Tuesday I was hoping for. But now I've found that, so I'm happy!

I'm going for a walk.

Sorry, ED. That's house music, not techno. (Although I'm not sure it's either - I just call DP electropop.)

This is Techno. (Pt. 2, Pt. 3, Pt. 4)

Personally, I prefer Tecmo Tuesday.

No, mrgrimm, you were not.

These are hit or miss, but overall somewhat amusing. The one from 10/6 is hitting home since I just got a Kindle for my birthday.

Of course, there's always Techno Cumbia.

OK, this one's pretty funny.

I know, mrgrimm. I've read my Guide to Electronic Music, even if the guy who was writing the column for the Georgetown Independent hasn't. But I'll take the Daft Punk quite happily.

I like. And I don't often like.

Okay, after reading a few more, it's time to go for a walk.

Here's a techno soundtrack to go with that art courtesy of 14tracks and Underground Resistance.

Its like 'perry bible fellowship' as drawn by a 14 year old Chris Ware. So: great!

It is? Chris Ware's not jokey at all, whereas it seems that this guy never met an observation about "internet culture" that he wouldn't torture into a visual pun.

Mr. Grimm & Eva: The definitions "techno" and "house" are all but meaningless nowadays. Over the last 15 years i've seen their narrower scope morph through all kinds of music styles, while both can rightly be used to define almost all kinds of 4/4 bassdrum driven music.
