Original paintings from the Rabbit Tarot will be on display at City Trees Gallery in Seattle in November along with quilts based on the Rabbit Tarot by Cindi Glinski of Cottontail Quilts.

I like these. Her card meanings skew very closely to practical, everyday interpretations -- they don't run very deep. But that rather fits with the simplicity evoked by the rabbits, and since this is obviously an artistic endeavor first and foremost (and since there is no minor arcana to lean on for more pedestrian symbolism), I think it is a wonderful little self-contained deck.
The Death card, for example, is everything I could ever want in a Death card -- it's dark and mysterious, but not spooky, and it shows someone embracing the inevitable. It's surprisingly moving. posted by hermitosis at 9:37 AM on October 26, 2009 [2 favorites]

LOVE. I love rabbits and I've been looking for a new Tarot deck. My others tend to run pretty dark (not super gothy dark, but just complicated) and I was looking for another "mysterious" deck, but maybe I need outright adorable and gentle. I can't believe my squee tag is inaugural. My girlfriend ordered a bunny card from Nakisha and I thought it was cool. I'm not sure if I found her site first or if the girlfriend did. I tend to check out a lot of websites of people on twitter, she tends to surf etsy. Either way, I knew I was eventually going to post her stuff here.
