At first I thought it was some kind of student portfolio project, in which case the lameness is completely excusable. Then I saw it was an actual submission to Cannes. I realize they're going for that tribute-to-cheesy-sci-fi effect, but it just comes off very flat and uninspired. But hey, killer robots.

R.O.T.O.R.'s horribleness is so much more so, when you consider that it came out five years after The Terminator.

Mostly just the stop-mo-over-black-ness made me think of it. I never made it all the way through R.O.T.O.R. "Attackazoids, Deploy!" is waaaaay better.

I miss MST3K. I always wish that when they got canceled they had figured out a way to move online making fun of online youtube videos and movies. Maybe in a few years.
