Because you can't imagine it, they made a movie about it!

The Bolt Who Screwed Christmas is the last movie narrated by Jonathan Harris (Lost in Space). A short animated parody of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". Voices also include Marta Kristen, Angela Cartwright and Bill Mumy, also from Lost in Space. Nominated for a number of awards at the L.A. Reel Film Festival.
Posted here at Meta because this is the only movie trailer you'll ever watch with what seems to be a naked woman (at 24 secs in this link) in a relationship with a bolt. A unique wtf moment in movie making!
Once again, a completely off topic thing:
I met Jonathan Harris at a NY Comic Convention years ago. He was signing photographs right next to the guy who was Don West and the lady who was Judy Robinson.
The funny thing was that Goddard (sitting at a table next to Kristen) kept yelling over at Harris, "Don't sign for FREE! Make them pay!"
I shit you not.
The autographs were $25 dollars a pop. I got both Goddard and Kristen because I collect autographs. But when I got to Harris he wanted to talk. So I spent a wonderful half hour, as he signed a bunch of free autographs as well as paid ones.
He was a really wonderful guy. As people went by they'd ask him to say his various "catch phrases" such as Bubble Headed Booby and Oh My Back.
I had a great time with him. As i walked away he said, Sir a moment.
I said yes.
He said thank you for your time, you bubble headed booby!
I almost swooned right there.
I was so sad to hear that he had passed away.
And so...

By Goddard, do you mean Jean Luc Godard, the French filmmaker? That is the sort of thing he was known to say at the midwestern comic conventions where he was a frequent, and frequently ignored guest. In any case, I envy you that wonderful memory of Jonathan Harris, splurge.

Splunge covered it, but just wanted to mention my brush with Jonathan Harris.
Met him some years back at DragonCon. He was very kind to his fans and very, very funny. I rarely bother with autographed pictures but got one from him, he wrote:
"Oh the pain, the pain, to have to write my name."
