Viddler sounds so gross for a video hosting site name.

We're not going to turn into some kind of wonderful, gleaming, ultra-Sonic that's gonna save the day. The only Sonic that's gonna save the day is...the average Sonic, the average hedgehog. Just a man on a mission. Awesome

" ... maybe this is a prequel to our lives ... "

I like the little bits of Sonic trivia peppered in there.

Viddler sounds so gross for a video hosting site name.
They even have a section for children's videos called 'Kiddie Viddler.'

This is as if Bob Ross narrated game walk-throughs. I love it.

I always wondered what happened to Venus Flytrap when WKRP went off the air.

Another fine product of the Something Awful forums.

Doesn't matter where it comes from, or why it exists. Bottom line: I feel like I've had a back rub, a foot massage, a big vodka tonic and a 20 hour nap now.

Does Sonic like to go to the city sometimes? You know, buy a delicious loaf of bread with a little butter on it. Maybe some chili and hot dog slices to class it up a little bit.

Oh yeah, do do do do do.

This is a beautiful place, it really is. Especially without all those spikes to kill you. Things swirling around all over the place. You know, sometimes I wish I was Sonic. I wish I could run fast and be really limber...

Now see, this level doesn't bother me so much, but it's a hassle if you don't get it just right. But what would be cool, is if when the background changed to water, you started to drown, that would be really sweet. And then the air came back right then, as the birds come back. But you know what? On this game, we're not gonna worry about that.

Oh man, frustration over trying to kill every baddie is EXACTLY why I hate Sonic games. But now I can just...let it go, man.

This is like the jazz radio/Quiet Storm commentary. I want all my game commentary this way.

1. I love this video.

2. I first played Sonic when I was six years old, and the drowning music was fucking terrifying.

3. Even though I've been through this game dozens of times, I have never noticed the day-to-night progression.
