Oh good, Hattrick made it. The one site on the web that's wasted more of my time than metafilter... posted by pompomtom at 12:12 AM on May 19, 2010
Woah. Dennis Lillee is mentioned. I remember talking about Dennis Lillee to a young tyke who was a cricket fan - and this is going back 8 years - and he's all: "who?"
Unbelievable.
Oh, and awesome link, nthdegx, thanks. I remember how much fun I had on the clunky Nintendo cricket from 16 years ago. posted by uncanny hengeman at 12:26 AM on May 19, 2010
Ahh, QWOP. He's got the heart of a champion, if not the limbs. posted by Anything at 2:16 AM on May 19, 2010
As a USian playing Little Master, I can only conclude that cricket has the same rules as wiffle ball. posted by HeroZero at 4:43 AM on May 19, 2010
My Hattrick team (Manitoba Reds!) keeps dominating the series, getting promoted, subsequently losing every game, and getting relegated back down to the series it dominated. It's a vicious cycle, and I think it's hard on the lads. posted by joelhunt at 5:58 AM on May 19, 2010 [1 favorite]
Ye gods, delfin. Do people still play Netrek Hockey? You just activated some memories I didn't know I still had. posted by Ella Fynoe at 6:59 AM on May 19, 2010 [1 favorite]
I don't get the Guardian URL. Why does it say May 27, 2008 if the article is from May 10, 2010? posted by The Winsome Parker Lewis at 7:07 AM on May 19, 2010

Free-kick Fusion is indeed addictive. The goalie gets damn hard (for me) at level 7/pro. 6163 was my best.
I did get both an albatross (-3) and condor (-4, which was also a hole-in-one) on Cat with Bow Golf.
Maybe I'm picking the wrong games. King of the Road and Crash Test Dummy Olympics are like the worst... posted by Ogre Lawless at 1:57 PM on May 20, 2010
