I don't have time at the moment to read all the links, but I do want to pop in quickly and state that Kupperman's Twitter page is one of the funniest things on the interwebs. Talented guy. posted by (Arsenio) Hall and (Warren) Oates at 2:54 PM on May 25, 2010

Kupperman's Twitter page is one of the funniest things on the interwebs. Talented guy.
Funnily enough, I met Kupperman through his Twitter page! I sent him a message and it turns out that he had seen something I did for issue 1 of Wholphin: I got paid to write absurdist subtitles for the Turkish version of The Jeffersons. Still the best job I've ever had! Kupperman thought my subtitles were funny so he agreed to do the cover of "Why Not A Spider Monkey Jesus?" He's a really nice guy and a total pro to work with. Anyone needing an illustration job should look him up! posted by Fuzzy Monster at 3:08 PM on May 25, 2010
recreating a photo to that degree is still plagiarism (iirc witkin took nin to court and won) posted by idiopath at 3:15 PM on May 25, 2010

In order to work in the Google search engine you've got to be a very fast typist.
If this is anyone but the Simpson's writers, he is stealing my bit! posted by DU at 4:36 PM on May 25, 2010
Fuzzy Monster's a great guy, Spider Monkey is a fantastic read, and you should all buy a copy! Incidentally, my wife had a hand in coming up with the title as a big group of us piled into some cabs on the way to see Battlefield Earth on opening night. It's a long story.
