I love donkeys, they're so personable. I went to youtube to see if there was video of the cute burros of Custer State Park in the Black Hills. So cute, so personable.

The horse-ranch down the road from my house has a trio of mini-donkeys, and one of my favorite things is, in the deepest parts of summer, watching them walk around in the really deep grass and only being able to see their heads drifting along with their giant ears marking their locations.

My other favorite things is watching them get excited and start chasing one another around, because they hop and it's stupidly cute. Really, it's impossible not to grin when you see it.
