OMG. Is this not the best picture of a kitten, EVAR?!? Spread the good vibes kids, we need them.

Pardon me, but that cat is obviously dead, stiff, and hanging from a poorly concealed monofilament line.

Have a nice day!

Matrix kitty!

Are you sure luser? I think the best picture of a kitten would BE dead, stiff, and hanging, but from a much thicker line that wasn't concealed.

What the picture doesn't show is the cannon that the kitten was fired from.

That picture reminds me of this, except the cat isn't quite as high off the ground (warning, that's a 2mb file, but well worth the download).

Oh, and since we're talking about cute cats, I'll just link to one that I took recently (warning, self link). MEOW!

Hey, that's just like the Giant Cat photo, only cooler.

What's missing from the kitten photo are the cool bullet time ripples in the background.

I would love to know what equipment was used to take that.

With such an exquisitely short depth of field, short shutter speed, and a rapidly moving (bounding) target, the photographer either had monster reflexes, was incredibly lucky, or spent all afternoon trying to get that perfect shot.

Kudos. I love it.

Silver and an action shot where she looks quite a bit like a gospel singer (or she just got shocked) but she's actually trying to catch the feather on a string that's flying by. The blue in the center of the eye is largely a reflection from the flash, but yeah, their eyes were blue. I understand that sometimes changes as they grow up. They're almost a year old now and they got sent to good homes some time ago, and I moved halfway across the country. I wonder what they look like now? :)
