Maledicta Press Online May your balls be skewered neatly On Poseidon's triple spear! (it's all text, but NSFW warning if someone's reading over your shoulder. Found because both MeFi and this site were listed together on this page.)

Excellently malevolent. Thanks, WolfDaddy. The "Hebonics" lessons in the quickies sections vere vonderful.

I love this site, Wolf Daddy. How can you not love a site that has a page called
You're ugly, your dick is small and everybody f*cks your mother
?

The links to other vulgar language sites are fun too.

This, however, is not.

This guy seems to have some funny moments, but he also veers dangerously close to the severely-unbalanced at points as well. This bit and his nice little diatribes about Janet Reno and Hillary Clinton made me picture him living quite happily in the Idaho woods somewhere.

Yeah, I've found some great stuff in Maledicta (the print version; there's not a lot online), but the guy who runs it is not someone I'd want to spend any time with, or perhaps even get within fifty feet of. (And I've had some pretty weird friends.)

Good grief, what an angry individual...

He's not angry ... he's verbally aggressive.

Only if you're hung like a pawn shop sign, buddy!

My enjoyment of Maledicta was historically spoiled, as it is again now, by my sense that Aman never had the distance from the material that would have made it truly great.

As valuable as almost everything I ever read in the mag was, the sense some of you are picking up on above is something that rolled off its pages in waves: the sheer hatred Aman has for much of the world and most of the people in it.

I know, I know: 95% of everything really *is* crap, and I'm never far from a misanthropic jag meself, but Aman is an out-and-out case and a truly nasty piece of work. It ruins any amusement I might derive from Maledica, actually.

(Curiously similar feelings about this and about Peter Lamborn Wilson, discussed in a thread not too terribly long ago: the loathsomeness of the creator nullifies the truly innovative, even delightful aspect of their work.)
