Deadwood Game

Season three of Deadwood starts tomorrow and it looks like they just launched a pretty cool game to promote it. It's a 3d texas hold'em first person shooter (that's right, shooter), where you play against Al Swearengen, E.B. and Trixie. The characters and environment are all fully rendered in 3D, and gameplay is really good for a promotional game. You've got a gun that you can shoot up the bar with, but you can't seem to shoot any of the characters. The only thing I can't understand is that if you go all-in against Al, you end up dead.
This post was deleted for the following reason: eh, it requires a weird plugin. lame.
Hey, wfrgms. Those of us here in the UK need to know when the new season of Deadwood starts so that we can have our bittorrent clients all fired up and raring to go.
The game sucks though.

So, is it a shooter AND texas hold'em, or is the poker just window dressing?

I ask because any thing that has the hubris to ask me—in professional voiceover, no less—to download some bullshit to supplement goddam Flash has already shot itself in the foot.

You fucking shitmongering cocksucker, I hope your corpse gets ripped to cuntchips by rabid piss-loving dinkdogs.
I've never seen the program in question, but I'm making an attempt here to register my disapproval of this kind of advertising thread in the idiom of the show, which I've heard is famous for its saltiness.
Did I do good?

stavros -- You did about right. The show sucks. Poo-poo and ca-ca talk for middlebrows. Brains getting blown out, etc. HBO knows its half-educated audience well.

It is, in my opinion, one of the greatest dramas ever made, every bit on par with other work from HBO like The Sopranos.

stavros, yeah, the post sucks but the show is fantastic--certainly one of the best things ever broadcast on television. Ignore Faze, he clearly doesn't know what he's talking about.

C'mon, it's clear he knows exactly what he's talking about: calling MeFites "middlebrow" and "half-educated" pushes all the right buttons! It's a great troll.
