That example seemed to stir the UK media - "the first example of a 3D crop circle" - if that wasn't something of a contradiction. Should we be calling them something else now? Crop formations?

Was recently told a funny story: Ex Apollo astronaut, well into his crop-circles, sides with the more exotic theories. Said astronaut is being interviewed for television programme, mentions one particular circle and claims it to be so advanced that it could not possibly be man made.
