Verizon Customer Support Hell

Three levels of employees can't do 6th grade math. Wait for the excruciating pain when the floor supervisor takes over. Incontrovertable proof of an empire's decline.

Incontrovertable [sic] proof of an empire's decline.

The customer support people were in Canada.

Good to know the Canadian Empire is finally in decline. I knew that poutine and time would wear them down!

I'd never seen it before. Best line:
Caller: So do you understand that there's a different between .002 dollars and .002 cents?

Supervisor: Yes.

Caller: Then can you tell me what the rate is?

Supervisor: .002.

No, the customer support people were not in Canada. Verizon doesn't do business in Canada.

Agreed - the customer support people don't have any sort of a Canadian accent.
