stupidly unintuitive drag/drop interface IMO

Read the link quickly and totally thought that this was a link to the Marlboro website; spent about fifteen seconds thinking the blocks represented sections of cigarettes. Errrr.

Hrm not something I should be doing drunk. WHY DO I HAVE TO DROP THE MARBLE IN A HOLE?!

There seems to be an invisibe wall after it bounces off my second stack.

I'm bored.

I'm always amazed at how much harder it is for me to understand things spatially when I can't actually touch them.

Why won't it show me other maps that people are making?

Hmm. I wanted to try this, but it appears to be broken. Can't see any way to make a map in either FF4 or Chrome.

I'm using Chrome and it works....but I'm really annoyed that you can only stack on top of "blank" blocks and there aren't blocks with just tubes in them.

This is the internet. I need more tubes.

Can you not rotate the individual blocks? If not, there aren't enough of them.
posted by Decani at 1:42 AM on May 3, 2011

You can rotate. Click the block when you place it and little curved arrows should show up around it.

unilateral: There is not when you make the tower one block smaller. Or taller, incidentally.

Huh. This is the online version of the most awesome marble run toy in the world, cuboro. If you want to spend WAY too much money marble run sets for your "kids", I highly recommend it.

. . . which led me to the "official version", which made me go "sweet suffering holy crap!", or however you say that in German (?)!

Is the suffering due to low frame rates?

Well.... yes.

The descriptions of how it's coded are pretty interesting and well presented. It's a shame it's not more fun, though...

OK now apparently I CAN stack blocks and I DO have tubes.

also, suddenly there's a pony at my house.

I want to see some bitchin' kickass maps that people far more talented than me have done. Chop chop, people!

a map...I wish I had a physical version of this, at some point, I get tired of shifting things around and accidentally dropping something off the grid and having it disappear.

I posted something from a mac earlier amd I must say 'Well that's something nile_red'. Not only did it take me about half an an hour to make this comment on an iPad but your map took ages to do anything. iPad quoting aside this just doesn't work on the iPad.

I guess I'll keep dropping maps here til it's closed? anyway....where are the other people to make maps?
