Rain Delay Antics

Clemson Baseball vs. Davidson Rain Delay Antics Moose hunting? Curling? Bowling? How this university's baseball team entertained during a rain delay. (SLYTHilarity)
In the first couple seconds, when the team got all triangularly arranged - I had a brief moment of hope that they would start some kind of choreographed snap-fight.

I was hoping to see this on a larger scale.
Samba Soul 70's! Also, now I want to play joust. Is there a place to play joust online?

That is absolutely adorable. It's so nice to see athletes entertaining a crowd and opposing teams working together. A perfect rebuttal to a "Students these days..." argument.

Aw! Go Tigers!! I have got to send this to my Dad (Clemson '62). He lives nearby and one of his greatest joys is going to a Clemson baseball game (or listening to it on the radio REALLY LOUD according to my mom). Don't think he went to this one though. I would have heard about it.

It was almost as if these guys were prepared for this. Seemed to have been thought out well enough for everyone to do their part.

Of course it was planned in advance. It's generally known well before the game starts whether or not there's a chance for rain delays.
The plannedness doesn't detract from the charm at all, espcially considering baseball games generally have mid-inning antics of one sort or another.

I agree that the plannedness doesn't detract. Actually makes it better. But I don't picture college baseball players sitting around talking about putting on a show in their down time. I lived with a Division I scholarship athlete, albeit a golf scholarship, and I can say with confidence those guys would not be planning a dance or show. I have seen these guys drinking adult beverages and smoking those funny cigarettes kids smoke during the ACC tournament.
Anyway, I really liked this. Sent it to my baseball loving kids. Got the "Like, Pops" back so all is good.

that is pretty great. I'm impressed that curling has that much mindshare among those players.
