Much, much, much creepier than expected. This is almost like the uncanny valley, but with real people slowed down.

That's like a really bad day on shrooms distilled into a series of youtube videos. I'm going to go curl up in the corner and shudder.

This is both terrifying and exactly what the internet is for.

I feel like I've been airdropped into b-roll of an Aphex Twin ambient video.

Pretty interesting, if only to demonstrate what a fine engineer Mother Nature is. At regular speed/pitch, baby laughs sound like bells, like fairydust, like delight itself distilled--but just a little bit of slowing down and it's a whole other emotional palette. Ain't humans interesting.

Is there an app for iPhone that can slow down videos? My phone is full of videos of my infant son laughing.

That laughter... brought back very vivid memories of frat parties during the 70s.

The first one sounds like it is going to throw up.

Found one. So if I heard this coming from the nursery, I'd probably jump out a second floor window to get away. It's too late for the rest of my family and I don't want the fat man with the rusty axe and smeared clown make-up to get me too.

So now I wonder how laughter changes as you get older. How many of these kids grow up to sound almost like their slowed down versions? Quick, someone write a grant!

Winx (Josh Wink) was part way here in 1995. The "Eternity Mix" is an endless loop of that disturbing laughter, and pitched down, could give you nightmares forever.

Reminded me of the drunken elf singing Cutie Patootie Which is equally disturbing.

I love this post SO MUCH. When I'm having a miserable day, I watch the baby and dog and bubble video, or the laughing quads, but instead I'm going to watch DEMON BABIES instead!!
