The man is incredible.

Am I boring and missing the point if I say that I wish this talent was directed towards a less gimmicky production goal than video sample compositions...?

I would use Kutiman's music to convince aliens to not destroy our planet.

I like sample compositions, and I like hearing new works from samples of other works; I think it is an artistic constraint which demands creativity, and I think it is a gimmick which has lasted decades and will never disappear!

Be sure to go to Youtube and follow the links to video and audio of the musicians he recorded and sampled. I'm three links in and listening to Marsh Dondurma now. So far it's all pretty awesome.

That's probably a bit harsh. Let's just say you're "wrong" and go back to watching this guy create something truly new which is truly good, even in the terms of older formats.

Gorgeous, sharing this wherever I can. I don't believe in God as I was taught about the concept, but I believe there is a kind of cosmic music that exists outside of us and we tap into whenever we play music or create something like this.

Beautifully shot for the most part, too. Thanks a bunch, I love Kutiman; bought his album after I saw Thru You on here.

I love the part near the beginning when the Muslim call for prayer lines up with the tuba. That was awesome.
