"FINALLY, we get some evidence that the Ghost x DOOM project actually exists."
Full cut seemingly available for purchase on iTunes later in the month.

Does not do what it says on the tin, insofar as you also assumed "Ghost x DOOM project" referred to a DoD experiment to power a giant laser using Hitler, or something similar.

i was expecting way more of that track than a recycled beat that Blackalicious already used. maybe some hotness like The Mask.

In related Tony Stark news: GhostFunk "pairs one of my favorite hip-hop artists, Wu-Tang member Ghostface Killah, with vintage African funk, high-life, and psychedelic rock music." Why do these mashups always have the best album art?

Not able to listen while at work--is it the same thing exactly? That would be disappointing. But if it's just the same sample, generally speaking I enjoy Madlib's dusty and dirty takes on samples that have been used previously.

Oh this is something I am now looking right the hell forward to.
..and I'm glad there will be a cassette, as I prefer their warmer, fuller sound.

Ghost has used a number of DOOM beats in recent years. There were four on "Fishscale" and two more on "More Fish". No, there's not a whole album of Iron Man vs. DOOM but there's plenty of collaboration between them out there.

Lentrohamsanin, the album is finished but they're having trouble securing the rights to the 10^7 samples they use on track six.

There was never any doubt that the project existed (I've got this issue of Mass Appeal sitting on a bookshelf somewhere). The track Angelz off of Born Like This was part of Swift and Changeable. You can listen to the original version here. Doom and Ghost also did a track together for GTA: Chinatown Wars.

My favorite Doom map was always the shopping mall.
