A dog of radius "R" shakes at frequency "ω".
Many furry mammals engage in oscillatory shaking when wet.

The discovery channel show "time warp" (which was basically "fun with highspeed") did an episode on dogs shaking themselves dry. fabulous footage of them doing their thing. no angular momentum measurements there, tho.

R is not the only value. Length of hair and looseness of skin has to play into it to.

It says that the frequency asymptotically approaches 4 Hz. Doesn't it theoretically approach zero?

That was hilarious. Except for at 1.20, it said that centripetal forces pull the water away. Centripetal is the centre-seeking force, so what's up with that.
