Ballet Zoom into your consciousness

There is very little English-language information on the dance troupe Ballet Zoom aside from this post on GoRetro. But more information is not needed to enjoy their performances involving psychedelic cats, psychedelic see-saws, psychedelic vampires, psychedelic "tribal" dances, and psychedelic psychedelic.

More Ballet Zoom than you can shake a stick at:

- Tutti Frutti
-
Barry's Theme
-
Can Can
-
Comba (Jump Rope)
- Brasil 1 Brasil 2
- Begin the Beguine
- Chicago

If you were Somebody in Spanish-language entertainment in the 1970s you performed with Ballet Zoom. Those who had the pleasure are numerous:
- with Don Lurio, bizzare dream sequence with Don Lurio, Chattanooga with Don Lurio*
- with Micky* (Bye Bye, Fraulein!)
- with Palomar San Basilio, and giant clocks*
- with Los Golfos
- with Pilar Velázquez*
- with Raffaella Carrá and here*
- with Tom Jones*
- with The Osmonds (gettin' dirty)*
- with George McCrae*
- with Iris Chacón*
- with Luis Aguilé (and cowboys)*

At first, I thought this was some hipster's idea of a joke after dropping Ecstasy too many times at a Polyphonic Spree concert. But now I'm all, "Dear God, it's real!"
