Beautiful work. I can't imagine how many half-completed shells have shattered in her hands before she developed just the right amount of hand pressure to hold the shell still enough to carve, yet not exert too much pressure.

That looks fun. Although lacking her skill, I'd probably use one of these.

Traditional Easter Egg Carving Still Alive in Central Europe. Etching Easter eggs is a well-known craft. People have been doing this in Austria, Ukraine, the Czech Republic since there have been chickens. Add some power tools into the mix and this kicks it up a notch.
