Baby, that's what an echo is.

Echo is one of the great achievements of pop culture. Truly.
It makes me picture R.Kelly having sex with like a camelbak on and some of those gel energy things marathon runners use, so he never has to stop.

Aziz Ansari has a great bit about this video in Dangerously Delicious which is available on Netflix Instant, and it is (predictably) really, really funny.
I am also a bit concerned about when R. Kelly says "If I say that I'm going to do something in a song, that's what it is." What does he mean? Does he do everything he raps about? ... I kind of... hope not.

Here, here 2bucksplus. For every asinine "I Believe I Can Fly" that makes you think he's another disposable R&B crooner, he does something as bizarrely genius as "Trapped In The Closet Chapters 1 - 5"
Unfortunately, for every "Trapped In The Closet Chapters 1 - 5" he does that convinces you he is some sort of bizarre genius, he does a "Trapped In The Closet Chapters 6 - 33", that convinces you he is another disposable R&B crooner.

I was introduced to "Echo" as "a song about how R. Kelly is going to have sex with a woman so vigorously that she will yodel," and that's absolutely what it is and it's perfect.

I heart R. Kelly. From last year's Write Me Back:
Feeling Single
When a Man Lies
Share My Love
The whole album is excellent.

R Kelly wants to explain about echoes. Presumably he needs us to understand, so that we may understand the song better. It's possible to learn pretty anything from Youtube.

Words cannot describe how absolutely critical seeing the DVD commentary of Trapped in the Closet is for one's development as a self-actualized human being.
Go buy it. Now.

Damn, you know I have NEVER seen R. Kelly's material?! You awful people, once I saw the Lando Calrissian with R. Kelly it just tumbled into an avalanche of R. Kelly that just cannot stop. This is not helping me grade student papers, you know.
