Funny how, the farther down you get, the more often you run into "I have no idea what all these emoji are for!" tweets.

See-no-evil monkey is highest and speak-no-evil monkey is a little behind, but hear-no-evil monkey is really not carrying the burden of evil-fighting at all. Spank that monkey.

The most popular signs, in order, look like a quick sketch of the beats of a Hollywood Rom Com:
Black heart suit
Face with tears of joy
White smiling face
Heavy Black Heart
Unamused face
Smiling face with heart shaped eyes
OK hand sign
Face throwing a kiss
Smiling face with smiling eyes
Pensive face
Smirking face
Grinning face with smiling eyes
Weary face
Flushed face
Loudly crying face
Victory hand
Thumbs up sign
Two hearts

I am pleased that PILE OF POO is still in the top 100.

I'm saddened to see that the suspension railway, mountain cableway, and aerial tramway are all towards the bottom of the list.

I need to do some more tweeting about airborne cablecars, I guess.

So wait, are these the things that show up as useless rectangles in my Twitter feed? I feel old.

It looks like aerial tramway is often mistaken for a helicopter…

Strangely hypnotic. Also rather cheerful, with hearts and smiles predominating.

Tell me about it, I keep looking at them sideways and thinking "I don't get it."

I didn't use emoji very much (outside of drunkenly sending out a german flag for some reason) until I found out it has (one of the) world's smallest violins.

How can the poop be #88? That's my favorite of all the emoji.
