On The Eighth Day, Nobody Rested...

Simpsons animator and cute animal comicker Liz Climo (previously here) is currently doing her own version of "The 12 Days of Christmas" featuring her bear and bunny characters: Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, Day 5, Day 6, Day 7, Day 8 (and more to come),
Meanwhile, those always wacky and seldom subtle folks at Cards Against Humanity (also previously here) are doing "12 Days of Holiday Bullshit", as 100,000 people reportedly sent them $12 to get 12 daily gifts, also being made available online (including a special Day 8 package for comics lovers!)
Day 1: A Commercial for Conspicuous Consumption;
Day 2: A Naughty Lump of Coal;
Day 3: Molly Lewis' "Interfaith Circlejerk";
Day 4: a new game "CLUSTERFUCK!";
Day 5: The Doubleclicks' "Family Christmas";
Day 6: a pdf of several Posters Against Humanity;
Day 7: Santa emptying buckets of elf by-products;
and now, on Day 8: Funny Pages Zine, a collection of exclusive comics from eminent webcomickers
John Allison of Scary-Go-Round/Bad Machinery/Bobbins,
Allie Brosh of Hyperbole and a Half,
Sam Brown of Exploding Dog,
John Campbell of Pictures for Sad Children,
Anthony Clark of Nedroid,
Jess Fink of Chester 5000 XYV/We Are Become Pals,
Nick Gurewich of Perry Bible Fellowship,
Abby Howard of Junior Scientist Power Hour,
Dylan Meconis of Family Man/Bite Me/Outfoxed,
Erica Moen of Oh Joy Sex Toy/Bucko/DAR,
Meghan Murphy of Kawaii Not,
Maki Naro of Sci-ence/Boxplot/Sufficiently Remarkable,
Ryan North of Dinosaur Comics,
Katie Rice of Skadi/Camp Weedonwantcha,
Jon Rosenberg of Goats/Scenes from a Multiverse,
R. Stevens of Diesel Sweeties
three times
because he's also the editor,
Kris Straub of Broodhollow/ChainsawSuit/Starslip,
Zach Weinersmith of Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal,
and non-webcomickers but still cool artists Natasha Allegri, Jana Kinsman, Elaine Short and Shawn Smith.
How will they ever top THAT for Days 9-12?!?
Semi-related, there's a new unofficial CAH expansion pack just in time for the Doctor Who Christmas Special: "Cards Against Gallifrey".

So far I've received four out of the eight mailings (out of order as well). I guess the krampus has been intercepting my mail or something.

They don't lead up to Christmas. They follow it.
Yeah, if you want to do something before Christmas, it's more of an Advent calendar. But then you need 25 gifts.

Also, I'm confused about the Cards Against Humanity gifts. What are they actually mailing, since they aren't mailing Youtube videos?

One was a tiny lump of coal, one was the posters (artist renderings of their favorite cards), one was the Clusterfuck game (printed instructions and cards), and the rest have been a small pack of (generally holiday themed) cards apiece (one black and 5 or so white, per package).
There's also some kind of hidden riddle or something across the cards; one of them came with an encrypted code.

I signed up for this and it's been a lot of fun so far. I'm hoping to have some time to look at the puzzles this weekend. For those of you who want to play along, there is a pack of redditors who are working on the puzzle over at /r/holidaybullshit.

Also, some people who put actual items in the "What do you want for Christmas" section are getting them from the CaH people.
(I put "I want to decide who lives and who dies", so I don't think I'll be getting that.)

I've received Days 1-3 and 6 so far. We're supposed to have received everything by 12/24, so I'm expecting a mailbox STUFFED with the rest of them any day now.

Ah, the subreddit that cmfletcher pointed to has images of the mailings too. I'm sorry I missed out, was just too slow and it was sold out before I saw the page.

Oh man, so cool to hear, Lucinda. I wish I could remember what I asked for. It was probably "to have my youthful enthusiasm back."

!! I don't remember what I wrote. Please let me have been smart and put "40 inch LED 1080px HDTV"
The mail to me has been really screwy. I've gotten days 1-6, then yesterday I got days 8 and 11. So I'm missing 7, 9, 10, and 12.

Okay, I just got the personalized card with my name on it. I take back my earlier grumbling- that was worth the price alone.

I do want to mention, however, that the 12 days of Christmas are actually the days between Dec 25 and Jan 6, which is Epiphany, the day traditionally held to be when the Wise Men From The East finally arrived at Bethlehem. They don't lead up to Christmas. They follow it.
