As if one really need another reason to hate the Bush Administration. I mean, who needs clean air if some of GWB's oil buddies can make some more money?

You could always sign up, godidog - it's free. This sort of thing was discussed fairly recently.

Bag Man, it's extremely difficult to instigate any kind of meaningful discussion around this topic given the inflammatory wording of your FPP. There are a significant number of MeFi members who do not hate Bush. I'm rather ambivalent about him myself. This is currently being discussed in MetaTalk. Have a look.

I would not blame Bush personally for this. After all, the GOP has for some time been for loosening federal regulations to make things easier for those companies that make much money and this will help them. After all, they need something in return for the money they feed the political coffers. Beofe Bush got into offce this sort of thing had been going on, stopped in some measure by Clinton.

"As if anyone needs another reason to hate..." Lovely. More foaming rhetoric from the left on a FFP.

Clean-air act, Kyoto treaty, Alaskan drilling, etc...is this really such a surprise?

Oh, and you can't hate Bush. Sorry. Congress passed a law this morning that says it's now a terrorist-loving criminal act to hook your fingers in the quotation sign when saying "'President' Bush".

Poago, What law? Catch your breath now. Get back to us when you have a fact to share that backs up your hyperventilating.

Real9, don't forget to laugh once in a while.

I think that was a joke, Real9. Either that or Congress collectively went insane earlier today.
